Indescribable

I was watching a message online by Louie Giglio about God's universe and was awestruck about how huge our universe really is. we live on Earth, a planet in a group of planets known collectively as the solar system, revolving around a star we call the Sun. This star is but a speck in the huge collection of stars numbering millions we call the milky way galaxy. And this galaxy is only a small part of the many galaxies in the universe. we are far from understanding what goes on in the universe, only babies blind and trying to forge our footsteps in the heavens. There is so much we do not know about everything. Much of how our bodies function still remains a mystery to doctors!

Granted we have achieved so much as a race but we are infinitesimal compared to the universe we live in. That is the reason i am so enamored with the star trek series. The promise of hurtling among the stars at faster than light speeds, discovery of spectacular phenomenon, seeing stars close up, nebulae, pulsars, quasars, even witnessing what goes on inside a black hole! The possibilities are endless. We live in this universe created by Him to bear witness to His mighty works. We exist because he made us, like he did the stars, the planets, galaxies. All created for His pleasure. Could it be that we were created for His pleasure too?? I'd like to think that. If we don't worship him, of course, the stars and everything else will.

in the end, it takes a leap of Faith to believe in things you cannot see, smell or touch. You cannot question and test for yourself to see if He is real. But let the evidence speak for themselves. I attached a video of the song "Indescribable" by Chris Tomlin as he talks about just indescribable our God really is. I still get awestruck everytime i watch the night sky. With the stars, the night, the moon. To think he chose us other than any where else to proclaim his glory. Such small, feeble creatures.

I think its pretty neat.

Indescribable by Chris Tomlin
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation's revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untamable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name
You are amazing God
All powerful, untamable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
You are amazing God

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untamable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
INCOMPARABLE, unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same
You are amazing God
You are amazing God

Ooh.. Treasure map...

Thoughts on Various subjects

Why do people instinctively choose to write the F word when vandalising lift walls? I have seen my fair share of graffiti but i fail to understand why this particular word is so popular among amateurs who cannot draw to save their lives.

"Hey! I'm alone in an elevator! Lets write something on the walls!"

Why not recap Marx's Communist Manifesto? Or at the very least, leave an interesting thought, like "Look up!" or "your fly's open". That shall perplex me for many moons to come. Speaking of moons, the weather in Boston is beginning to turn cold. Fall is approaching, and it is getting chilly,

On another note, the Boston Red Sox, baseball team of Boston (Duh) has won the World series with 4 games to 0 over the Colorado Rockies. not that i am a huge baseball fan myself, but i'd just thought i'd share.. IT IS MY BLOG.

My roommate's dog has just crapped on my floor! And on carpet! Argh! Stupid dog! Learn some toilet manners and go use the toilet if you need! Now i need to clean it up. Sigh...
