The Shape of things to come

As i sit down to write this blog entry, i realise it has been a while since it has been updated. It is increasingly harder to keep this space updated, mostly because i'm not sure if anyone reads it. Any how, lets just devote a few minutes to write something. Its summer 2008 now, and i am still in school. Taking summer lessons. Cramming 16 weeks worth of work into 12 weeks is no mean feat, as i am beginning to realise. Many projects begin right off the bat, with no time to slack around til like week 4 or 5 to really begin studying. Right now is a mad dash to find pple for my live to 2 recording. after that, soundalike, then after that jingle. Then i will be done for the summer. Then there are lessons like art history, music history, conducting! things i will learn and forget once i am done with school. I'm even taking japanese lessons!
Stress...

I guess i am beginning to find out that no man can be an island. With so many projects due, you do need a fresh flow of musicians to play for your various projects. I am beginning to make friends, to find pple to record, maybe a few bands here and there. At least for this semester, people i know have stepped into my life once again after being absent for like a year or 2. So its not so bad. Also, i guess i am learning to rely on others as well as having others rely on me.

I do not know how the next few semesters are going to be, but i just have to trust in God, to believe that He has a plan for me.
